Shopping and the muppets

I've been feeling kind of down lately, not really wanting to be pregnant and I tried to go for a walk after work today but it was entirely too cold and windy. So I decided to stop at the local second hand store since I'm now doing laundry every three days since I only have three days worth of clothes that are comfortable.

I love second hand stores! I spent round sixty bucks and got 5 pairs of pants, 2 sweaters, 1 long sleeve shirt and 8 short sleeve shirts. I can't actually count them right now because they are in the washer on hot hopefully killing all the bed bugs, so those figures are from my head.

Do you ever watch the show "What Not to Wear" because I'm addicted to the show. Not for the fashion advice, but to watch how people's perception of themselves change throughout the episode. I kind of feel like I'm my own episode because after I started trying on some new second hand maternity clothes, I started to feel less down. Up until now, I've been covering up my belly. Not only because I just recently started tell people but also because it was just awkward. But now I want to show it off and I'm feeling more "in my body" because of it.

I haven't seen the muppets in maybe twenty years but about a month ago I got the following lyrics stuck in my head.

Moving right along in search of good times and good food,
With good friends you can't lose, this could become a habit.

Opportunity knocks once, lets reach out and grab it,
Together we'll nab it,
We'll hitchhike, bus or yellow cab it!

I obviously haven't looked up the words, that's just what I remember.

But THEN- my coworker started belting it out walking down the hallway this week. I haven't heard it in twenty years and now this! It must be a sign. But what....? Should we name the sliders after the muppets?

Kermit and Gonzo?
Scooter and Beaker?

I just don't know.
